Kate Barker

I am an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist working as a First Contact Practitioner assessing, diagnosing and managing a range of musculoskeletal conditions. I qualified as a physiotherapist in 2007 and have since worked in a wide range of settings including primary care, hospital outpatients and sport. I also work as a physiotherapist in TIMS and prior to this worked for a number of years as a specialist foot and ankle physiotherapist. This allowed me to gain knowledge and experience of secondary care and surgical management of orthopaedic conditions as well as developing extensive experience in gait analysis. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my children. I also play netball and enjoy fitness classes.
