Rosie Mitchell

I am a Children’s Social Prescribing Link Worker working for Zone West, North East Wellbeing, within GP surgeries in the Outer West of Newcastle. We offer children and young people from the ages of 7-11 years old bespoke 1-1 therapeutic intervention which supports their emotional, social, behavioural and physical wellbeing. We also support the child or young person by working alongside their family, school and any other external services involved. We work to help actively signpost children and young people to support in their local area to help integrate them within their local community. My aim is to equip the young people I work alongside with a toolkit of emotional literacy skills and knowledge that allows them to face and solve any challenges they may encounter in life.
