Mental Health Youth Worker

I am a Mental Health Youth Worker for the Outer West Newcastle PCN. I support young people aged 11-18 who are experiencing a range of difficulties including anxiety, low mood, bereavement, bullying, etc. Alongside work, I am training as a psychotherapeutic counsellor and apply my learning to my current role, helping young people to understand the factors affecting how they feel so they can find new coping strategies. I believe that self-esteem is one of the most important parts of our mental health, so I like to help others develop self care and understand their personal strengths.
