What is the service?
This is an early intervention mental health and wellbeing support service for 11-18 year olds. The team deliver wellbeing sessions for low mood, stress and anxiety using self-care and guided self-help techniques. They offer a menu of support options eg. 1-1, group work programmes, mental health workshops and community based support. They deliver daytime appointments in Schools e.g. Walbottle Academy, Studio West and after school appointments in GP Practices and other community settings.
They can also offer City Centre evening appointments at Streetwise Newcastle.
This is a confidential service offered by trained professionals.

- People aged 11-18 years old
This service is not suitable for:
- People outside the age range
How do I make an appointment?
You can make a request for this service in a number of ways –
- Contact your GP Practice and request a referral to the Streetwise, Outer West Service.
- Self-refer via the Streetwise website at streetwisenorth.org.uk by clicking on ‘Emotional Wellbeing’ and completing the referral form
- Call Streetwise office on 0191 2305400 and make a telephone referral with any of the supportive staff. You are also welcome to contact Streetwise with any queries you have about the service anytime.
